This group meets to create and promote an environment of respect and safety in NAMI support groups. We request that attendees respect that religious beliefs are very personal; therefore, religion is intentionally not a part of the NAMI support group structure. However in this unique group we are meeting as a spiritual group meeting intentionally. The spiritual aren’t religious; they are independent seekers, many of whom pray, meditate, and seek other spiritual practices outside the confines of a particular tradition.
