Social Hour & Support Group

Join the NAMI Far North Social Hour & Support Group this month to connect with the local community and discuss mental health!

Join us for this month’s Social Hour & Support Group. It’s a great opportunity to connect with your local NAMI Far North Family in a relaxed and supportive environment. Social Hour will be from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

After the social hour, our monthly support group meeting will take place from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Welcoming people and delicious food are provided, and everyone is welcome to attend.

NAMI Family Support Group is a peer-led support group for any adult with a loved one who has experienced symptoms of a mental health condition. Gain insight from the challenges and successes of others facing similar experiences. NAMI’s support groups are unique because they follow a structured model, ensuring everyone has an opportunity to be heard and to get what they need.

How Can I Help?

By volunteering with NAMI Far North, you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness. Volunteers are needed in the following roles:

  • NAMI Walks and Movie Night Events
  • Support Group Greeter/Host
  • Peer Family and Connection Support Leaders (stipends and paid training)
  • Marketing/Social Media

Membership in NAMI Far North entitles you to membership in NAMI and NAMI Idaho. You will receive the NAMI "Advocate" and the NAMI Idaho Quarterly News.
