Join us for this month’s Social Hour & Support Group. It’s a great opportunity to connect with your local NAMI Far North Family in a relaxed and supportive environment. Social Hour will be from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. A warm welcome and delicious food are provided.
Our guest speaker this month will be Jon Totten, founder and executive director of Dogsmile Adventures. Jon and his group are committed to changing lives through sailing, and they offer experiences to virtually anyone in the community.
Our peer-led support groups run from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM; one for those living with mental illness (Connections) and one for those with a family member or friend who is dealing with a mental health condition. Gain insight from the successes and challenges of others facing similar experiences. NAMI’s support groups are unique because they follow a structured model, ensuring everyone has an opportunity to be heard and realize that they are not alone.
